The Gerrell's annual Halloween Bash is the party of the year, one you never want to miss (Ruby). I honestly believe it get's better every year. Everyone appeared to be having a fantastic time last night. Please remember as you look at these pictures that Alcohol was a factor, don't hold it against anyone and please folks, don't try this at home!

Daniel and Hillary

We love to dress up, this is the one time of the year that we can dress as "trashy" as we want to and get away with it, not that any of us look trashy, right? Carla,Jodi, April, Janice, Deb, Lydia and Hillary

Glenn and April. She dressed up like a sexy, vixen pirate. I think she may be kin to someone named Captain Morgan. It would have been nice if Glenn would have dressed up but he just came as he was, no costume for him.

Daniel has his work cut out for him tonight.

Janice and Tammy, cat burglar and the police.

Gina frisked Joe down, he looks like he is enjoying this.

Janice had a clothing malfunction, Joe hated to help but he did out the kindness of his heart. Thanks Joe.

I'm starting to believe that Joe likes being frisked :)

Hot biker chick!

Just to show I was kidding earlier, Glenn without his costume.

Watch out, the cat burglar is on the prowl.....

Deb is a pole dancing DIVA. We all like to try but she rocks!

Halloween continued

Once the pole dancing starts, things always crank up a notch or two and you never know what you might see............

Gina and Lydia, that's pretty impressive, no one's feet are touching the floor.

This is a shot of all the voyeurs

The Man With A Can

Mark was trying to make the pole alittle slicker with some

good ol WD-40.

Time to ditch the black boots and put on my dancing shoes.

Mark and Tammy

We have a new priest, did James confiscate that vodka from Paul or is Paul trying to corrupt James?

I love Tammy, can you tell? I also love this picture of Big Dale.

Tammy was backing it on up! Gina was warming up for her performance.

When Paul gets started, he is hard to stop, he loves to dance as long as I can find the right music. I promise I am gonna put some stuff on my Ipod just for Paul very soon. (and some Aerosmith for Kim)

See what I mean, total air!

I tried very hard to get a shot of April's face but she was alittle like Sarah and avoided the camera.

Daniel knows how to work the pole

Glenn tested it and then decided he would just watch, he just doesn't look like the pole dancing type.

Sweet little Lydia tried to talk him into it but by the look on his face I believe that is a firm "NO" or maybe "Hell No"

uh-oh, is that Bryan?...

showing off some moves for us ladies.

Is he spanking the pole?

uh, Bryan I thought you were dancing for the ladies?

Not sure but this is starting to look like a party for two.... (lol)

I think Glenn has had enough of Bryan's dancing, it looks like he is hollering for April to get him outta hear.

Me and Tammy doing what we do best

And finally it was time to go home but not before Dale tried to burn the moonshine. Speaking of moonshine, has anybody seen Mark Gerrell?

Good Friends

Just a reminder, blue flame is good, but if it burns red......you're DEAD!
(Mark, I'm not real certain about green)

It is camping time again. I love a good campfire, good friends and looking forward to putting as many miles on that ol lime rock road as we can. One day I'm gonna trace a typical day-long ride out on an aerial photo of Jefferson and Taylor county and let you know what it looks like. We natural born put some tracks down on them dusty roads. I rode and walked these roads alot during the summer when Mom and Dad were here and we hardly saw a snake but let me tell you.... they are out right now!

Aucilla

We enjoyed having Merritt and Monica this weekend. Before Sarah was born Hannah would sit on Uncle Dale's lap and demand a hug from someone who doesn't normally display affection to anyone. She broke him in pretty good. We finally got the chance to have some one-on-one time with Hannah this weekend. Sarah decided she would ride with Uncle Merritt, Aunt Monica and Tripp. Hannah is so close to being a teenager, she has grown up so fast. Dale and I both loved having her to ourselves for a short while.

Camo is not just for hunters as we saw again today. We were chopping firewood and noticed this bug handing out on a limb. Hard to see straight on but when you turn it to the side, there he is.

Masters of Camo

Do you see me now?

Sarah and Tripp have alot of energy, they totally enjoyed themselves.

The scenery is so pretty, I never tire of the steep banks and the snake-like curves of the Aucilla. The river looks as dark as witches brew from a distance but just step alittle closer and it's clear, just tinted with alittle cypress stain. Each new stop has a name that stays in your memory, Davis Rapids, Flat Rock, Burn Out........the list goes on and on. You can't visit these places without feeling the presence of the ones who were here before us. Occasionally we find evidence of their existence, broken Indian pottery with designs and markings all their own. how awesome it is to touch something that we know was last touched by the brown hands of native americans hundreds or thousands of years before us.

******* BOO! *******

Fall blew in this weekend, halloween is just a few weeks away and "prankster" fever is in the air. We had been jeep riding in the woods around Goose all day on Saturday. Everybody was alittle slow from the night before and it was getting dark so we were headed back to the campers and looking forward to a hot camp fire. The wind was howling down Sinks road, the shadows were just beginning to drift thru the ancient oaks and palmetto. Ruby was enjoying a cold natural light and looking for deer along the road when...................................all HELL BROKE LOOSE!

Merritt said when he ran up to Ruby's window her knees went up on the dash, down on the floor, up on the dash, down on the floor, beer was splashing on the windshield, draining off the headliner and cuss words were spewing from her mouth. She had on a bright orange jacket and all we could see was an orange blur leave the passenger seat and nearly oust poor ol Duck out the driver window. The best part was that Deborah and Mark ran right by him and didn't see a thing. I'm kinda glad because Deb got scared later by the campfire and ran over me. I outweigh her by alot (don't get carried away) but that little thing hits like a freight train and I would not have wanted her to hurt Mark.

Ruby was a good sport and posed for a picture with Merritt, she still looked alittle pale.
